What Inspires you to create? I like the challenge of creating a sense of light on the landscape or figurative subjectsDescribe your creative process. I often paint on location to get a real sense of a place. I also believe it’s important to paint from life whether it’s of figures or still life. How has your art evolved over the years? Hopefully, I’ve improved! Every painting is a problem or puzzle to figure out. I can manage the process faster than when first started out.
What Inspires you to create? I take inspiration from the shapes, colors, and texture of the materials I work with. Each material has a unique personality that influences the design to move in a particular direction. The seemingly endless combinations of colors, techniques and materials continue to amaze and inspire me.Describe your creative process. I typically start with a rough sketch, graph or physical arrangement of materials and colors, depending upon the technique I am using. I then weave or braid small samples before finalizing the design and colorway. How has your art evolved over the years? I love the continuous learning challenges offered by bead-weaving and kumihimo. Over the years I have learned to use more advanced techniques to achieve more unique results.
What Inspires you to create? The wood itself inspires me to turn it into gorgeous art.Describe your creative process. I allow the wood to speak to me.How has your art evolved over the years? I like to try new ways to make things. Also, make different art designs.

What Inspires you to create? I find inspiration in everything. Colors, the curve of a line, a story in a book - all inspiring. It just takes time to figure out what to do with it.Describe your creative process. Sometimes it starts with a drawing. Sometimes my plan it just to make a figure or a vessel. Once I get started it is about where the clay takes me.How has your art evolved over the years? I started out thinking I would make wonderful organic shapes covered in wonderfully random glazes. Over time I realized I wanted something more. I began experimenting. One item I worked on was a form I had created in college. It became the basis for how my Valkyries are made. Glazing is another area that I have worked on, testing commercial glazes to get more color into my work.
What Inspires you to create? I see the vision on my head that I want to create, I can already envision it completed and just go from there. Describe your creative process. I take more risks, I have branched out from just making standing sculptures to creating dancers on the wall. How has your art evolved over the years? One of my favorite activities involves working at memory care facilities. I bring finished animal Sculptures, and they can paint them and usually keep them.

What Inspires you to create? I like the technical aspects of glass and how it reacts with heat.Describe your creative process. Either I will see something that gives me an idea, or I go into my studio and just start pulling sheets of glass and an idea usually forms. How has your art evolved over the years? I started in stained glass, moved to lamp working, and now focus on fused glass.
What Inspires you to create? It depends it can be a light, shape or form.Describe your creative process. With each medium in which I practice, I have a different style. My style has pretty much stayed the same but I improved my techniques by practicing which in turn improved my art over the years. How has your art evolved over the years? I started doing tabletop sculptures. I eventually started making more complex forms and hanging them.
