Esmeralda, an Arizona native, is a painter who specializes in creating "mini watercolors". These paintings, which are four inches or smaller, are meticulously crafted on birchwood panels using watercolor and mixed media. The choice to create miniature paintings is driven by the belief that the creation of each artwork can possesses its own unique journey and story. Esmeralda has painted these pieces across 42 states in the US and Mexico in various locations such as planes, cars, taxis, beaches, coffee shops, offices, and parks. Some of these little paintings have even traveled cross country. Each artwork displays a list of the cities where they were started and completed, serving as a testament to their remarkable travels.
