SUE ANN DICKEY

Semi-precious stones

  • I grew up near the Columbia River Gorge and to this day, nature is my muse. Standing next to my mother who was an exceptional artist; I was led gently and taught a wide variety of art forms. A favorite memory is standing at my easel, she at hers, the oils between us Mom taught me that a compelling picture happens when the artist is emotionally connected and paints with conviction.

  • Breath-taking beauty of jaspers, agates, and minerals are hidden beneath our feet. I use semi-precious stones from around the world to create these displays.

  • Nature, bold or serene, inspires me to capture her moods.
